Before my retirement ,I sometimes went to Germany to learn German or to join universities program during summer vacation.

After retirement, I went to Berlin or Vienna to learn German for 3 to 4 months every summer.

During my stay I sometimes wanted to go out of the German speaking countries to other countries. But I felt uncomfortable there because I had to speak English.

My English was poor and German sentences came to my mind, then English sentences did not come to mind anymore. I got confusing by that .

So I decided to begin to learn English again.
